Sodium hydroxide is used to produce soap and various detergents used in household and commercial applications. Chlorine bleach is produced by combining chlorine and sodium hydroxide. Drain cleaners containing sodium hydroxide open pipes and drains by dissolving grease and organic dirt that builds up in pipes. It is used in sinks, sewers and treatment plants to clean pipes, remove bad odors and control acidity. Caustic acid is an acid-based material and a very good disinfectant. When combined with water, it releases heat and is caustic. When using caustic, which can cause serious damage to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract, goggles and gloves should be worn and its odor should never be inhaled. In the detergent industry; sodium hypo chloride is used in the production of soap, oven and pipe cleaners.

Caustic (sodium hydroxide) is used to help produce various medicines and pharmaceutical products. These are often common painkillers such as aspirin, anticoagulants that help prevent blood clots, cholesterol-lowering drugs, etc.

Caustic caustic (sodium hydroxide) is used in the energy sector to produce fuel cells. Fuel cells work cleanly and efficiently like batteries. Fuel cells generate energy for many applications such as transportation, material packaging, stationary - portable - emergency backup power applications. Exposi resins made from sodium hydroxide are used in wind turbines.

Private and public water treatment plants use caustic (sodium hydroxide) to control water acidity and help remove heavy metals from water. Caustic caustic (sodium hydroxide) is also used to produce sodium hypochlorite, a water disinfectant.

Sodium hydroxide is used in some food processing applications, such as curing foods such as olives or helping to add crunch to brown Bavarian-style pretzels. Sodium hydroxide is used to peel tomatoes, potatoes and other fruits and vegetables when canning. It is also used as a food additive to help inhibit the growth of bacteria and mold. It is used in olive processing to soften and darken olives, in chocolate and cocoa processing, in caramel and soft drink production and in thickening ice cream. It is also used in the beverage and dairy industry for degreasing, water treatment and equipment cleaning.

In many papermaking processes, wood is treated with a solution containing sodium sulfide and sodium hydroxide. This helps dissolve most of the unwanted material in the wood, leaving relatively pure cellulose that forms the basis of the paper. Caustic caustic (sodium hydroxide) is also used in the paper recycling process to separate the paper from the paper fibers so that the fibers can be reused. Sodium hydroxide is also used to refine raw materials for wood products such as cabinets and furniture and for wood bleaching and cleaning. In the paper industry, it is used as an adhesive, in heat printing and newsprint. It is an essential ingredient in the production of paper and pulp.

Caustic caustic (Sodium Hydroxide) is used to extract alumina from naturally occurring minerals. Alumina is used to make aluminum and a variety of products, including foil, tin, kitchenware, beer kegs and aircraft parts. Aluminum is also used in building and construction, in materials that provide aluminum building facades and window frames.

Costic (sodium hydroxide) is used in many other industrial and manufacturing processes. It is used in the manufacture of rayon, epoxy resin, spandex, paint, explosives, glass and ceramics. In the textile industry it is used in a wide range of fields such as dye making, laundry and bleaching, cotton fabric processing, metal cleaning and processing, electroplating, oxide coating, and electrolytic extraction processes In chemical production; it is used in the production of sodium aluminate, sodium cyanide, silicate, polycarbonate, titanium oxide and zeolite.
